Seminar in Switzerland in 90 seconds
From the 13th to the 17th of February 2023, we held our seminar in Switzerland at the Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz in Olten. Our delegation and the project- and communication team participated during this week in various programs. We had many inspiring people with us presenting their fields of expertise regarding renewable energy and automation alongside their experience in ASEAN. We were given many insights, tips and tricks to prepare for our On-Site seminar coming ahead at the end of March 2023. Furthermore, we had the honour to welcome H.E.Mr. Phung The Long, Ambassador of Vietnam to Switzerland, to our seminar, where he talked about Vietnam and its economic development.
On Wednesday, the 15th of February, we had the chance to visit mobilog AG in Buchs and the Paul Scherrer Institut in Villigen to see how they use automation technologies and how renewable energy sources can benefit from them.
The seminar participants of exploreASEAN had cooking and crafting competitions to get to know each other better.
On the 17th of February, all International Student Programs participated in the career fair, allowing students to get to know future employers from different industries. The seminar in Switzerland ended with an exciting panel discussion and a presentation from experts about the current energy crises Switzerland, along with many other countries, is facing.
