We are proud to present the third edition of exploreASEAN, which is providing young people with the chance to access the ASEAN community.
Each member state of ASEAN has its unique economical, cultural and environmental characteristics. It is challenging to gain an impression of job prospects in each country in Southeast Asia. Our project pursues to give an in-depth understanding of each country to young talents and supports them to gain a foothold in ASEAN.
Technopreneurship - a mindset to success
This year, theexploreASEAN delegation will visit the member states Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam. The new edition's theme Technopreneurship focuses on how the chosen countries make the best use of technology and entrepreneurship to further stimulate their economic growth.
Considering the newly evolving technological developments, it is uncertain whether the traditional model of industrialisation, growing through a strong manufacturing base can be repeated. Although Singapore is not as dependent on manufacturing as Indonesia and especially Vietnam, they are all increasingly investing in the digital age, as well as in infrastructure. This recent developments motivated us to investigate further in this field.

The last day in our journey started with Mr. Othmar Hardegger, Consul General of Switzerland in Vietnam, who opened the workshop by shortly explaining us the task of the Consulate General as well as trade promotion and support for investors in Vietnam.
So, we met at 08:10 am to start our company visit at Nhabe Garment Corporation. After a 30 min coach ride we arrived at the company where we have been received very warmly by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Lan, the General Director of NBC
Today's first stop was was the Hung Vuong Seafood Company. Hung Vuong was established in 2003. Their named guideline is "Your satisfaction is our successfulness" and their slogan could find everywhere on posters and pictures - "Think of fish, eat panga".
